IT Technical Support Engineer - French Speaker - Windows Background

Job Responsibilities

·         Traditional First and Second Line Technical Support, understanding Customer needs and providing solution to meet those needs.·         Be an active member of the group (i.e. handle cases as necessary, etc.)·         Efficient case handling within/between the Support Teams, ensuring all objectives are met.·         Manage Hot Cases/ Escalations working as necessary with customers, colleagues and Escalation Management ·         Establish a Development Plan to ensure continued skills development. ·         Work within the MBO Program to meet/exceed objectives.·         Normal mode of operations must be multi-tasking.·         Helping to drive TS proactive duties·         Writing/reviewing Support Notes.·         Writing/reviewing Troubleshooting/Diagnostic notes·         Ensuring compliance with Support Services SOP’s  

Skill Requirements ·         Applicants must have a BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent·         Experience in the following technologies:-·         Preferably 2 to 4 years of technical support experience or consulting experience·         Experience with Windows 2003, Windows Vista, .NET, Windows XP and Windows 7 ·         Visual Basic.Net (or at least Visual Basic 6) is a requirement.·         Knowledge in any of the following will be an advantage:·         SQL Server Database (Ver: 2005 onwards)·         IIS (Internet Information Services) (Ver: 6 onwards)

·         Ability to understand/ gather information on what the customer is trying to achieve and delivering a solution to the customers need. Excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills.


Language Requirement:

Fluent French and Arabic language skills along with English
