Minimum Recruitment Criteria  

A university student or recently fresh graduate

Excellent English Skills

Familiar with computer skills

A desire to experience and learn

Positive public relations skills

Ability to work in small team and on own initiative

Flexibility in terms of hours (during the day and the week) and job requirements


The intern will assist the Egypt Race for the Cure® committees to prepare for the event to be held at 23rd of October 2010. Egypt Race committees are fundraising, PR, implementation, media and registration.

Intern will receive monthly compensation according to working time.

About Egypt Race for the Cure®

Egypt Race for the
Cure® is designed to break the silence about breast cancer and raise
significant awareness about early detection in the Egyptian community.
Egypt Race for the Cure is organized by BCFE and Susan G. Komen for the
Cure®. Susan G. Komen for the Cure® has organized more than 130 annual
Race for the Cure events across the globe attracting 1.5 million
participants and over 100,000 volunteers.

Egypt Race for the
Cure® gives everyone an opportunity to celebrate, remember and to make a
difference in the battle against breast cancer. Egypt Race for the
Cure® will be an event that will enjoy national and international media
coverage, and will be attended by important Egyptian and foreign
national dignitaries.

Last year,
approximately 9000 people registered for the Egypt Race for the Cure
2009 at the Great Pyramids of Giza, and another 1000 attended.


People of all age
groups gathered wearing their t-shirts and caps, and ran or walked from
the smallest pyramid to the Sphinx. Awards were presented to race
