Are addresses standardized in Cairo? I know in Baghdad they were not, until
the municipality of Baghdad decided to use the hierarchy of

Governorate (name) >> Qadhaa' (name) >> City (name) >> Hai (name) >> Mahalla
(name) >> Shari3 or Zuqaq (number) >> House or Building (number) ... as far
as I remember.

Mabrook! :))) How wonderful to share your good news with us Dina. I am
already interested in having a look on this document. Any copies on the
Net? BTW, I have got some news about similar project conducted in
Cairo. Seems that Egypt is having some activities these days in the
Cultural GISs :))

As for my current works. My biggest project in hand now is the building
of the Address Ranges geographic database of Greater Cairo streets.
It's an interesting project really. I might brief you in the Cafe on
the interesting findings from this project someday. Any similar
products for cities in the region tha anybody knows of?
