Dear Safarists,
This is an announcement about An“ADVANCED First Aid” course,that will be conducted in 3 sessions: Tues/Wed/Thur – 24/25/26 Jan.
Guided by the “ American Red Cross Advanced First Aid course”, and with some additions and subtractions , The course includes, but not limited to:
* Basic Rescue Management and Techniques .
* Evacuation techniques.
* Handling & management of a variety of specified injuries (beyond the standard EFR course).
* Emergency Child Birth (how to deal with an emergency delivery).
* SLIDE SHOW on a variety of:
Snakes & Vipers.
Poisonous Marine creatures.
Poisonous Plants, especially in Egyptian deserts.
* Some Paramedic Skills:
- Body Temperature estimation.
- Blood Pressure estimation.
- Blood Sugar estimation.
- Tips on S.C. & I.M. injections.
All sessions will be 6:00 – 10:00 pm.
Location: 17 Sherif Str, 5th floor, flat 21 – Korba- Heliopolis – just behind Horreya Mall.

As usual, No course teaching-fees for SSC members and their friends, But LE 300 / participant/ full course, will be collected, just to cover the actual basic in-class expenses.
The Advanced course is for those who want to broaden their horizon in more valuable fields. It is not a certification level as the standard EFR.
