Dear All
I feel that experiencing the Solar Eclipse was so unbelievable that no mail can describe it.

I really enjoyed the company above all.
Off course the center piece of the day was the Eclipse itself, yet i find it important to tell you a bit about what was going on down on Earth. So many feelings and moments but I'll just focus on a few.

Before the start of Eclipse every body was getting there cameras ready. i saw lenses that i have never seen before, cameras that looked like they were designed for the eclipse, telescopes that were huge ( so huge that i didn't know which side to look into) . In our area ( W ) it was like a big festival or carnival. every were you go you meet people you know , old friends, dedicated safarists, and the atmosphere was just great. An open area with friends going all around with their cameras and lenses , every body sharing their photography experience with others, and even sharing equipment. I personally borrowed a filter from Rania, and a film ( I'm considering borrowing her photos). Dr. Samir was sitting on a table making a lot of experimental filters using any material he could find around then giving the results to everyone.

During the partial Eclipse, people were shouting ( Ahoo ahoo bada2 ) then others replying ( feeen daa ) then you hear ( I can see any thing ) a reply would be ( Look the other side ) .It was getting colder and colder. Some of us wet back under the shelter and were praying. and all the shutters were racing . Just before totality the temperature was dropping drastically. The Tiger ( Ahmed el Nemr) said " Hey look on the ground, there are things moving ". I though to my self , here is the first one going crazy. Nemr :" ya gama3a bosso 3ala el ard" , and thought , he one guy looking completely in the wrong side. Very soon every body was looking on the ground. There were ......, well......., things moving on the ground . Things like shadows of clouds but no clouds in the sky. No body ever found out what are the things.

Now totality; unbelievable, just unbelievable, scary if i can say, beautiful it was , Amazing is a word that could be used , cold , dark, conflicting and confusing, It wasn't night and it wasn't daytime. I guess "It was an Eclipse" . But Eclipse is not just a word, I learned that Eclipse is an experience.
