IYEO is now recruiting candidates for SWY30 administrative staff.
● Role Facilitator for Course Discussion (ADM Training Team)
*In addition to facilitating the discussion programs, facilitators are expected to take part in administrative work to run the SWY program. The facilitators set goals of the course discussion, design the sessions and facilitate them.
● Criteria:
- Must be an ex-PY or recommended by an ex-PY
- Must be age around 28 to 45 years old as of April 2017
- Must have professional background in the field of interest (discussion themes)
- Must have Japanese language skill: Japanese-Language Proficiency Test, N2 or above
- Must have English language skill: TOEFL (PBT:550/IBT:80 or above), TOEIC850
- Must be able to attend the Facilitator's meeting (September 6 to 10, 2017 in Tokyo)
- Must be able to join the whole duration of the program (Jan. 20 to March 2, 2018)
● How to Apply:
Please submit the following documents:
*The CV and the essay must be written by yourself in Japanese
1. Your CV written in Japanese
2. An essay in Japanese (1,000 characters) stating the reason why you wish to join the program as a facilitator and how you can contribute.
3. Certificate of your Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (N2 or above)
4. Recommendation letter
*Non Ex-PY needs to prepare 2 recommendation letters
- For all applicants: Recommendation letter by someone who knows well your expertise that is related to the course theme or academic career (in Japanese or English)
- For non Ex-PYs: Recommendation letter by someone who worked or works for SWY related programs, or Ex-PY.
5. Theme of the Course discussion that you are able to facilitate and its background
*Please write the background of the theme in 120 words in English and 200 characters in Japanese
*The theme should be something related to next generation global leaders who can contribute to the society

4. Youth Empowerment
5. International Cooperation
6. Social Entrepreneurship
7. Corporate Social Responsibility
● Honorarium (13,000 JPY/day) and public transportation fee will be provided.
● Deadline for application: May 31, 2017 at 10AM (Japanese Time)
Interview will be conducted face to face, or by video skype or phone call in June.
Final selection will be done by mid-July.
