''Ithaki'' screening at the Cairo Opera House Aug 8-14.

I read an aricle about Ibrahim Batut (will scan and forward when find it) in
2003 after he came back from Iraq. He talked about starting as a war
photographer with the 1st war on Iraq and end it with the second. To end at
the spot where he started as a circle that he felt completing. Before he had
inside him a feeling of an urge to go...but then felt coming back home. So I
think that was where the 'Ithaki' feeling was coming from and resulted the
movie we saw. So for him the Ithaki journey coming back home was all what he
learnt and felt during the journey and coming back to home and to himself...

The film is going to be screened from Monday Aug. 8 till Sunday 14. At 8 PM.
At the creativity Center (next to Hanager) at the Cairo Opera House.
Free entrance
English subtitles Aug. 13 and 14.
