Hi all,
I saw that the subject of safety was discussed intensively.
I thought I'd add my 2 cents to it by contributing with this official data from the NHTSA
http://www.safercar.gov/RollRatings.cfm#VClassSU
It has very important information to understand vehicle safety, different types of rollovers and what are the causes leading to a rollover such as incorrect tire pressure, overloaded vehicle or top loaded roof racks... the site is packed with useful links and animated demos... USE THEM!
There's even a link to a nationwide advisory about the increased risks of rollovers of 15 passengers vans.. (El Macrobaz!).. now you'll understand why those maniacs have deadly accidents on our highways.
Here is a link yo a small database about rollover ratings of SUVs / pickups / passenger cars. It's good to compare ratings.

ENJOY THE INFO!

Berrawy,
This is a good link, these are the kind of things that I work on in my
research and it's good for people to know this info when they're
comparing cars
By the way, my baby has the best rollover rating ever been tested by
nhtsa, you can find it in this list :-)
Just one thing I wanna point out here, the 15 Passengers vans are not
"EL Macrobaz", they are you full size vans that are built on a truck
frame and they're usually rear wheel drive if not front wheel drive and
they really stand high off the ground and the passenger load is high and
also varies a lot so it's hard to design for it, the Macrobaz are
somewhere between those and what is referred to as the "mini-van" which
is not bad in rollover at all compared to SUVs, and the minivans are
built on a car frame and most are frontwheel drive
The full size fans (15 passengers) are the ones like the old ones used
in "elaryaf" the chevy and ford ones and the dodge ram
Stay safe everyone,
Khaled
