A Multinational organization is seeking GIS specialist for a short
term appointment (maximum of 3-11 months).
Duties and Tasks:
?Analyze information using GIS (mainly vector-based).
?Draft GIS proposal in the field of disaster and health
Management
?Support and cooperate with the various technical units
related to disaster and health management (web design, graphics,
database, data collection, etc).
?Develop quality control mechanisms for data acquisition, and
analysis.
?Streamline the data flow of key health and disaster tracking
data
?Develop technical reports
?Other duties as required, that are related to Information
Technology
Qualifications and skills:
?Familiar with Geographic Information Systems and Information
management
?Excellent skills in technical writings and presentations
?Good command of both English and Arabic language
?Basic knowledge of health and/or disaster sector
?Can work independently and self motivated
?Good leadership, and communication skills
?Strong analytical skills
?Willingness to learn and travel
Competencies:
?Excellent skills in various computer applications
?Ability to research and selectively identify and collect
data needed for emergency, disaster, and health management
Gross monthly salary ranges from 3000 to 5000 Egyptian pounds,
depending on the qualifications and skills.
