Door to Door Shipping from US to Egypt

My advice is DO NOT DO IT!!!!! Egypt makes it so difficult they charge you twice as much as the cost in taxes! Then they go through everything and you will have, dirty clothes even the coffee maker had like dirt markes on it. It was a bad expirence and I had heard that from others. I did not believe them I thought it can not be that bad but it was worse.

Its better just to pay for excess luggage on the flight. I would rather pay $1000 in over weight bags than dealing with shipping companies in Egypt. Lets just say because its coming from the states Egypt feels you can pay whatever they levy for taxes.

You are very welcome. At least you will have some control in the matter. Be prepared to pay a lot but it is really worth it when you factor in all the "thieving" the Egyptian redtape system adds to a simple process of shipping door to door.
