Dear All,
Please allow me to share with you a Public Diplomacy
initiative that I am undertaking (Public Diplomacy is
the Diplomacy directed at Peoples to contribute in
shaping their impressions and perceptions on others).
My name is Mohamed Kazem; I am an Egyptian Diplomat,
currently on a secondment to the Euro. Arab Foundation
in Spain, I obtained my Ph.D. in Public Diplomacy from
Autonoma University in Madrid, and I am a song writer,
a singer and a musician. I have six productions in the
field of Lyrics and Music among which are three CDs,
The Unsaid 1999, Drafts and Drifts 2001, and
Stygmatism2003 (They are available at Diwan Book store
in Zamalek where revenues go for charity, Fathet
Khier).
Now? back to the initiative itself, it is simply using
a synergy of Diplomacy, Lyrics and music to underline
what is common among Peoples, especially in the Human
Dimension which is the focus of the songs. The major
objectives are to contribute in overcoming problems
related to the mutual lack of understanding and
distorted stereotypes among Peoples. I did this before
during the period 2001-2003 through a chain of
concerts in Spain under the title ?In Search of
Understanding?, where, alhamdolela, objectives were
reasonably met.
I am currently undertaking a new project following the
same lines; It will include concerts in the US (next
May, ISA), and in preparation for that I am having a
concert at Saquiet El Sawy on the 26th of March 2005
at 8 P.M. for the price of L.E. 10. So, I am
inviting you all to that concert and would very much
appreciate your presence and comments in order to
benefit best of this preparatory act. I will be glad
to receive your comments or any enquiries in that
