 Position:  HACCP Consultant – Needed for KSA Office  Vacancy Notice issued on:   December 9, 2009Application Deadline:  December 31st, 2009                                                                           Functions:Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Country Manager, the incumbent will perform the following functions:  Required Tasks: 

  • Provide advice and guidance on food and water safety issues as defined by the Check Safety First
  • Conduct Monthly audit and detailed report to hotel management.
  • Carry out Risk Management Audits and HACCP implementation.
  • Conduct control procedures to reduce the risk of legionella infection.
  • Carry out Control procedures to reduce risk in the pool areas.
  • Conduct Lab analysis where and when required.
  • Provide CIEH based Basic Food Hygiene Training course for all Food and Beverage staff with certification on quarterly basis or when required.
  • Provide audit scores to clients based on benchmark information.
  • Install HACCP procedures and control documentation.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on food & water safety issues.
  • Conduct risk management and HACCP trainings on client’s establishments.
  • Provide hygiene training, with examinations, for all relevant staff
  • Conduct food, surface, and water samples for laboratory tests on regular basis.
  • Report problems to senior staff and recommend corrective action accordingly.
  • Attend regular implementation meetings
  • Identify and control procedures of critical points

 Minimum Qualifications: Education:                

  • University degree in Veterinary Medicine or Agriculture

 Experience and Skills:

  • 3 to 7 years of relevant HACCP, Risk Management and ISO 22000.

 Competencies:

  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Fair proficiency of English written and spoken.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Solid interpersonal communication skills
  • Positive and presentable attitude
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Assertive and articulate
  • Desire to learn new skills.
