Dear Ex-PYs,

First of all, I would like to thank you very much for your contributions to
support
the victims of the Cyclone Pam that hit Vanuatu in March.

After sending out my previous email on April 28, few more countries sent
donations
to SWYAA Vanuatu. As a result, as of today, we were able to donate a total
of:

- Approximately US$ 9,710
- Approximately 450 MOPAS bags

I am deeply touched by all the love given from the SWY community to the
victims
in Vanuatu. Thank you very much.

Please find below a message from Antonny - President of SWYAA Vanuatu.

Warm regards,
Tamae Saito
Secretary General
SWYAA International

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We dearly appreciate all the support our SWY Family continuous to show
towards Vanuatu.
As for activity plans we have had 3 meetings since, the meetings have been
on
what activities should be carried out and where the funding will have a
more greater impact
on the affected communities.
Yesterday we had a our 3rd meeting to finalize the plans and after much
debate and deliberation we have agreed on an activity plan.
I will produce a report on the activity, but just to brief you we are
planning to buy 2 Tons
(50 Bags of 50kg Cement) to help rebuild primary school classrooms that
were
destroyed during Pam.
The children in both communities of Eratap and Saravango are forced to go
to school
in make shift tents, we are heart broken by the ordeal that they continue
to face and have
agreed to reach out and help these two highly affected communities.
Today our task was to collect quotes from different suppliers so we can
purchase
the 2 Tons of cement, Im happy to say we have already purchased the cement
as of
this afternoon and we will be donating them on Thursday to the schools.
Will keep you updated on more activities that we plan to carry out, in the
coming weeks.
Thanks once again may the Good Lord continue to bless you and the SWY
Family
